February 27, 2018 A novel tool for observing molecular threesomes
There are thousands of proteins hidden in every cell and that bind to each other to transmit information. This communication often involves 2 proteins at a time, but sometimes there are 3 or more! Some of these assemblies play key roles in signaling and the control of cell proliferation, and therefore it is important to be able to detect their formation or their dissociation.

February 14, 2018 The sweet tooth of melanoma explained
When they become cancerous, cells accelerate their metabolism to become real “sugar addicts”. This behavioral change provides them with a lot of energy, enough to accelerate their growth and multiplication. But how do they manage to change their eating habits? This is what Professor Philippe Roux’s team from the IRIC wanted to know.
