Katherine Borden elected Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences

Katherine Borden, Principal Investigator and Director of the Structure and Function of the Cell Nucleus Research Unit at IRIC, and Full Professor in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology in the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal, is one of 49 new Fellows elected to the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS).
This appointment reflects Katherine Borden’s dedication and outstanding contribution to the health sciences, her excellence in her field of expertise, and the innovation and exceptional quality of her research. A world-renowned pioneer in her field, Katherine Borden has been pushing back the boundaries of knowledge on RNA biology for over twenty years.
Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors bestowed on the Canadian scientific community. Honoured members are determined by their peers.
