Congratulations to the 3 recipients of IRIC’s Salary Awards Competition for Postdoctoral Fellows

Three postdoctoral fellows won the IRIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Competition this year. These three grants were awarded thanks to dedicated donations.
Congratulations to:
- Yann Chappe; Bouvier Lab; Power Corporation of Canada Emerging Scientist Fellowship
- Marie-Kerguelen Sarthou; Roux Lab; Baumgartner Fellowship
- Baptiste Dumétier; Meloche Lab; Power Corporation of Canada Emerging Scientist Fellowship
Created for the purpose of supporting postdoctoral fellows possessing an outstanding research record, but who do not benefit from any substantial scholarship, the competition provides recipients with salary awards worth $25,000 for one year.
All three recipients were selected for the quality of the research project presented, their excellent publication record and their outstanding academic record.
Through these donations, IRIC’s partners illustrate their commitment to the development of the academic careers of the next generation of scientists. IRIC wishes to acknowledge the exemplary generosity of Mrs. Rita Baumgartner and Mr. Aldo Baumgartner as well as of Power Corporation of Canada.
