A 2022 edition in person for the IRIC Student Recruitment Event

The IRIC Student Recruitment event offers to students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the field of cancer research a unique opportunity to take part in an international student recruitment event at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) of the Université de Montréal.
The 2022 edition took place from June 1 to 3 and welcomed 29 participants from 18 universities around the world. 153 interviews were scheduled this year between participants and the 14 Institute researchers present at the event.
During their stay, the participants were able to:
- Visit IRIC, its laboratories and its core facilities;
- Meet IRIC principal researchers and students and discuss with them during various networking activities;
- Learn more about the M.Sc. and Ph.D. research projects and graduate programs offered at IRIC;
- Participate in a full day of one-on-one interviews with the IRIC Principal Investigators;
- Explore the campus of the Université de Montréal;
- Participate in an evening of activities in Montreal with IRIC students.
- Activities are offered in English.
Following the event, several participants will receive a recruitment offer with an M.Sc or Ph.D project accompanied by an annual scholarship of $22,000 (M.Sc) or $24,125 (Ph.D) from one or many of our researchers. The training will begin between fall 2022 and fall 2023.
