Donors outdo themselves for the cause

Again this year, several sporting challenges were taken up to support the work carried out by the 500 dedicated people who devote themselves every single day, at IRIC, to finding solutions in the fight against cancer.
Whether it’s actively funding current research projects, awarding scholarships to the top research students or acquiring cutting-edge equipment, your donations make a difference and allow IRIC to tackle major challenges.
In 2019, two events confirmed the community’s commitment to support the Institute’s activities. Les Défis du Parc, which took place in Shawinigan from September 4 to September 8, raised a total of $3,030.
For its part, the well-known Grands Prix cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal race, held on September 13 and 15, also emphasized its commitment to the cause. A total of $1,500 was raised as a result of the sale of Leaders’ Club packages.
This sporting commitment contributes to advancing knowledge and helps investigators get closer to new therapeutic solutions for the benefit of patients.
