IRIC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mtre Robert Paré as a new member of the Board of Directors as well as the renewal of Mr. Jacques Bernier’s mandate as a member of the Board by the Executive Committee of the Université de Montréal.

Robert Paré

Mtre Robert Paré, Strategic Advisor with Fasken, has been practicing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance for more than 30 years. Recognized as one of the leading corporate lawyers in Canada, having handled the legal aspects of a number of transactions that have marked the Canadian economy, Robert Paré has also been a Director on several Boards, including Québecor inc. He committed to IRIC for a three-year mandate on June 1, 2018.

Jacques Bernier

Jacques Bernier, Managing Partner at Teralys Capital and former Senior Vice-President of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, will begin his second mandate on the Institute’s Board of Directors on September 18, 2018, for a period of three years.
