IRIC honors its donors

On June 16, IRIC, hosted its fourth annual cocktail dedicated to its donors. Set in the Morris and Rosalind Goodman Agora, on the campus of the Université de Montréal, the guests were privileged to meet IRIC’s new Chairman of the Board of Directors, Atty. Marc-André Blanchard.
Delivering his first address as Chairman of the Board, Marc-André Blanchard expressed his willingness to share the ambition, innovation and achievements of IRIC and this, primarily to the members of the business community. Highlighting the hard work of his predecessor, Robert Lacroix, he acknowledged his dedication to the Institute.
Dr. Guy Sauvageau, CEO and Scientific Director of IRIC, also wished to pay tribute to Robert Lacroix, highlighting his dedication as co-chair of IRIC’s fundraising campaign with Marcel Dutil. Dr. Sauvageau also presented the major achievements of the year at IRIC, including the recruitment of two renowned researchers. This recruitment was made possible in part with the help of the Marcelle and Jean Coutu Foundation.
Dr. Sauvageau concluded by stating that a wall of honour acknowledging IRIC’s exceptional donors will be installed shortly at the entrance of the Institute.
