A great success for IRIC at the 2011 Eureka Festival!
Published on June 27, 2011
Researchers and students of IRIC participated in the 2011 Eureka Festival. Taking place from June 17 to 19, on the quays of the Old Port of Montreal, visitors marveled at IRIC’s often unknown universe by participating in the Cells Detective activity designed to be a dynamic extension of the scientific research conducted at the Institute.
Intended as a family week-end, the 2011 Eureka Festival met the expectations of their visitors. Young and old who participated in the Cells Detective activity were amazed at the projects presented. With the help of explanatory panels, scientific equipment, or simply by sharing their passion, IRIC’s staff was able to transport the everyday world of researchers to the Festival. And who knows, they possibly ignited the flame of a future researcher, a future member of the family of IRIC!
